Please come and join us at Boxford playing fields from 12 noon on Sunday 21 April to celebrate both 100 years of Football in Boxford and the 40 year anniversary of the trip to the USA by the Boxford Junior Football team.

MATCHES & FOOTBALL
Boxford Rovers current junior teams will be playing including the fantastic Rovers Girls team
There will be a game between the Boxford and Nayland old boys, including the over 50s who went to the USA and Nayland Eagles players
Should also include Walking Football with ex Colchester player and coach Micky Cook as referee
There will also be a Boxford Rovers Old Boys game on the big pitch
There will be a display in the pavilion of memorabilia of the USA trip and of when Tony Woodcock, ex Forest, Arsenal and England striker, came to the Boxford Playing Fields and presented the lads with their tracksuits prior to the America visit the following day.
All are welcome for an afternoon of fun and meeting up with old friends. Bring the family and have a drink and something to eat.
The local papers and TV are sending reporters to commemorate a great story.
